PTFE & PVC Expansion Joints

OVERVIEW:  Flexicraft PTFE and PTFE lined expansion joints are used for corrosive applications when other materials are inappropriate.  Also included here are the popular Model P and Model CP PVC/CPVC expansion joints.

  • The Teflex joints are unreinforced PTFE. The 2-convolution joint is sometimes referred to as a "coupling". 1" to 12" diameters.

  • The Teflex joints are unreinforced PTFE. The 3-convolution joint is sometimes referred to as an "expansion joint". 1" to 12" diameters.

  • The Teflex joints are unreinforced PTFE. The 5-convolution joint is sometimes referred to as a "bellows". 1" to 12" diameters.

  • The Tefspool expansion joint is a rubber spool with an integral PTFE liner, giving it the strength and pressure rating of a rubber expansion joint, and the chemical resistance of PTFE. 1.5" to 24" diameters.

  • The Tefbellows is an expansion joint that combines the properties of metal and PTFE into the most advanced expansion joint available for highly corrosive piping systems. Normal design temperatures are from -300F to +400F, and they will retain their pressure carrying capacity up to 1,200F in an upset condition, sufficient time for system shut-down and replacement.

  • The Model P and CP are PVC/CPVC highest quality expansion joints for thermal expansion movement. Uses telescoping sections, sealed by three O-rings for extended life. Available for long 6" and 12" travels, in 1/2" to 14" diameters.

  • The Model P40 Short Stroke PVC Expansion Joint is suitable for DWV and other cold water Schedule 40 white PVC piping applications that may experience thermal or other axial movement. Pressure rated based on size between 235psi and 150psi. PVC female socket ends, and double EPDM O-ring seal. 1/2" to 6" diameters, with various stroke lengths.

  • The PVC Ultrasphere Twin expansion joints for PVC piping systems. They help eliminate vibration and noise from pumps, as well as allow for movement in the offset lateral direction, and in compression. Socket and NPT thread ends, with a rubber bellows. 3/4" to 3" diameters.
