OVERVIEW:
The Ultrasphere is the the most widely applied rubber expansion joint available today, and the Ultrasphere Twin provides a bit more movement.
The floating metal flanges on these expansion joints freely rotate for easy installation, and it comes with drilled holes.
The optional control units may be critical for your application, and should normally be used.
Large inventories of Ultraspheres are kept at the Flexicraft warehouses for quick delivery. Stocked in EPDM, neoprene, and nitrile.
FEATURES:
- Floating flanges, with either standard threaded holes for easy installation, or drilled holes
- Available in multiple rubber elastomers from stock
- Available with optional control unit tie rods to prevent overextension
- Moves in both axial and lateral offset directions, with additional movement than the Single design
APPLICATIONS:
- Flexible pump and other equipment connectors
- Thermal expansion and settlement for lower temperature, chemically compatible systems
TEMPERATURE: 250° F for EPDM, 225° F for Neoprene, 212° F for Nitrile (Note Pressure Derating)
