Overview:  The Model SI1 is a stripwound interlocked stainless steel hose.  (For a packed hose to retain pressure, see the SI2 hose. The edge of metal strip is folded so that the joints interlock. 

Features:

  • Relatively lightweight and tough.
  • Suitable for high temperatures.
  • If fittings are used, the default is to weld them to the hose to allow for high temperatures. High strength Epoxy also available.

Applications: 

  • Bulk Material Handling at Higher Temperatures
  • Fume and Engine Exhaust 

Temperature: -50F to 1500F
