Model YIF2 Y-type strainers are available in 2" thru 12" diameters, and include 304 stainless steel screens. The strainer bodies are ASTM A126-B cast iron, and include flanged end connections, with flange drilling of class 250.
The screens are accessed by way of bolted cover and a blow off plug. Operating pressures and temperatures to be 250psi - steam @ 400F / 400psi-wog @ 150F. For water service, 2" thru 3" sizes have .045 perforations, and 4" thru 16" sizes have .125 perforations. Other materials, perforations, mesh linings are available.
For domestic manufacture, specify Model YIF2D.
Grooved ends are also available (Model YIG).
