Model YIT iron Y-type strainers are recommended for use in non-corrosive applications.
They are available up to 3" diameters, and include 304 stainless steel screens.
The strainer bodies are ASTM A126-B cast iron, and have threaded end connections. The screens are accessed by way of threaded or bolted cover and blow off plug. Maximum operating pressures and temperatures to be 250psi-steam@400F and 400psi-wog@150F. For water service, 1/4" thru 2" sizes have 20 mesh screens, and 2-1/2" & 3" sizes have .045 perforations.
