The Spider 10 pipe guides are the most popular guides for use with metal expansion joints.
A split housing can be sized to allow for different amounts of insulation to be inserted. See the pdf submittal sheet for more details and to choose a model based on diameter and insulation space. Note that the spider guides are not designed to handle support loads, and only keep the pipe in alignment and prevent buckling of the pipe line. To determine which model number you require, see the table on page 2 of the submittal sheet, which depends on the amount of insulation space as well as the diameter. Standard allowed movements are supplemented with longer travel options. Contact factory if needed.
